Cookie Policy

InfoComply Corp. (InfoComply) and our partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer and track users’ movements during visits to our website or use of our products, and gather information about site visitors (where you access our website or products, how you use our products and services), and to provide you with information about Infocomply products you might be interested in buying.

What Are Cookies and Does InfoComply Use Them?

Cookies are text files placed on your computer when you visit or access services from a website. Cookies are used to improve the efficiency of website functions and services, and to obtain information about a user’s experience while interacting with or using our websites, services, products, and advertisements. Cookies may expire upon exit from a browser or may last for longer periods of time, even after exiting your browser, for purposes such as remembering you when you return to our website. The table below explains the cookies that InfoComply and our third-party partners use and why.

Cookie Type Purpose
Required Cookies Core These cookies are necessary to enable basic site functionality such as providing a secure login and remembering your progress through an order.
Performance InfoComply uses performance cookies for load balancing to ensure that websites and products remain functional and operational.
Functional Cookies Preferences and Settings These cookies record user choices and settings and may store them on your device. They enable our websites and products to function correctly or maintain your selected preferences over time. For example, InfoComply saves preferences such as language, browser and multimedia player settings, which enables the browser to remember these settings each time you return to the site.
Sign-In and Authentication When you sign in to a website or product using your InfoComply account, we store a unique ID number and your sign-in time in an encrypted cookie on your device. This cookie retains your sign-in information so you can switch pages within the website without being required to sign in on each page. This cookie also allows you to save your sign-in data, so you will not have to sign in again every time you visit the site.
Analytics To provide our products and to improve your user experience on our websites and with our products, InfoComply uses cookies and other identifiers to gather usage and performance data. For example, cookies are used to count the number of unique visitors to a specific web page, service, or blog and to gather other statistics related to our products’ operations. This includes cookies from InfoComply and from third-party analytics providers. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our websites and products.
Advertising Cookies Interest-Based Advertising InfoComply uses the data collected about our visitors’ online activity through cookies to help us identify their interests, enabling us to provide advertising materials most likely to appeal to them. You can opt out of receiving interest-based advertising from InfoComply by following the steps outlined in the “How to Control Cookies” section of this cookie policy and in our Privacy Policy. Users who opt out of the “sale” of their personal information won’t receive interest-based advertising from us on their device. Note: If you opt out of interest-based advertising, we store your opt-out preference in a cookie on your device.
Social Media Cookies Social media companies provide code snippets which may be used on our websites and products. These code snippets can determine if you are logged on to a social media account, and are included to facilitate sharing of InfoComply content with other social media users via that account. These code snippets read cookies previously set by your social media company while you were logged in/browsing web content on their social media site.

Social media companies will not be able to sense if you are already logged in to a given social media account if you turn off Advertising Cookies. Note: If you opt out of interest-based advertising, we store your opt-out preference in a cookie on your device.

We embed videos from InfoComply’s YouTube channel using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. This mode may set cookies on your computer once you click on the YouTube video player. Turning off Advertising Cookies will prevent YouTube from storing any of your personally-identifiable information to a cookie for playback of the embedded promotional YouTube videos.

How to Control Cookies

Some people prefer not to allow cookies, which is why most browsers give you the ability to manage cookies. Some browsers allow you to manage cookies on a site-by-site basis, affording finer control over your privacy. This means you can selectively allow cookies from sites you trust and disallow cookies from all other sites.

To learn more, you can peruse help pages containing relevant cookie management information provided by browser manufacturers. Please see below for more information.

For other browsers, please consult the documentation that your browser manufacturer provides.

You can opt out of interest-based targeting provided by participating ad servers through the Digital Advertising Alliance (http://optout.aboutads.info/). In addition, on your iPhone, iPad or Android, you can change your device settings to control whether you see online interest-based ads.

If you limit the ability of websites and applications to set cookies, you may diminish your overall user experience and/or lose the ability to access the services, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also prevent you from saving customized settings, such as login information.
